Roadside Sensors — UK & Ireland

This notice covers VivaCity roadside sensors where VivaCity is the data controller, and is also materially correct where we act as processor on behalf of a customer. During normal operation, sensors produce anonymous counts, movement tracks, and speed metrics. Video is processed locally in volatile memory and discarded within milliseconds without being transmitted to any server.

Limited video data may be generated for validation, near-miss clips, or software-training images. It is never collected to identify an individual, and any shared material is processed to remove identifiable features.

Website, Marketing and Sales

When you contact us via a website form or email, we collect your name, business email address, phone number, and message to respond to your enquiry. We also use anonymised website analytics and may process professional contact details for business-to-business outreach.

We do not sell personal data. Where we use service providers such as HubSpot, Google Cloud Platform, or Pipedrive, they are bound by appropriate data-processing agreements and transfer safeguards.

Job Applicants

We collect application information such as contact details, qualifications, skills, employment history, interview material, and information you choose to share. This information is used solely to manage the recruitment process, assess suitability, verify right-to-work eligibility, and meet legal obligations.

If an application is unsuccessful, data is normally held for six months from the end of the process before deletion or anonymisation, unless we need to retain it longer to exercise or defend a legal claim.
